女博士的自白

把博士帽抛向天空，并非轻盈

坠落大地，有几分沉重

据说世界构成的三元素是：

男人，女人，女博士

我们被称为第三类人

不禁想起鲁迅笔下的第三种人

尽管我已生疏第三种人的含义

我的博士帽越戴越高

因为它要装更多的帽子——

对象、工作、房子、职称、孩子

我严重晚婚，高龄产妇

后来还主动要求怀二胎

坚信：小棉袄抵不过小水枪

我的求学历程和求职体验

让我彻底明白什么叫第三类人

是的，我的博士帽越戴越高

可它装不下我日益突出的腰椎间盘

装不下我读博期间买的一套房子

（老公净身入户，房产还加上他的名字）

更装不下我早生华发的忧郁的心

能征服我的不是圣斗士

是女博士帽

Confessions of a Female Doctor

Throwing the doctorial hat up into the sky, not light though,

I see it falling on the ground, quite a bit heavy.

They say that men, women and female Doctors

Are the three elements of the world.

When female Doctors are labeled as the third kind of persons,

I can't help thinking of the third kind of persons in Lu Xun's works,

Though I have almost forgotten the implication of this term.

Taller and taller is my doctorial hat growing

Only because it has got to hold more hats in it---

Future spouse, jobs, apartment, professional titles and kids.

Of extremely late marriage and advanced reproductive age，

I even offer to bear a second childbirth to have a boy hopefully,

For I do believe the small cotton jacket cannot rival the small water gun.

Both my schooling and job-hunting experiences

Propel me to understand what the third kind of persons mean really.

Yes, my doctorial hat is getting taller and taller each day,

But it is still not tall enough to store my increasingly herniating lumbar disc, 

The apartment I purchased during my PhD studies,

(My penniless husband has had his name added to the property certificate!)

And also it fails to store the grey-haired heart of my melancholy.

It is not Saint Seiya who can conquer me,

But instead my doctorial hat can.
