自幼临江多少次，岁时如水无情。从容而逝赴单程，人间生死岂闻听。

The river runs east in the sunset glow

On ferry boats many times I’ve crossed the flow

The towering bridge strides over the two banks

Exuberant are the plants of Crane and Turtle

I’ve come to the river frequently since a child

Like water, time flows mercilessly forward

On a one way trip it disappears with leisure

Never caring for death and life in the world
