A Quatrain on cherry blossoms: Three poems

菲莎春早回，

曙草万株开。

灿若云霞起，

佳朋各处来。

Spring comes early to the Fraser Valley,

Cherry blossoms are in full bloom.

Glorious as rising rosy clouds,

Guests and friends flock from all directions.

曙草：樱花别称

四月暖风来，

樱花一夜开。

青春可重度，

即使鬓霜皑。

The warm winds of April return

Cherry blossoms bloom overnight

Youth might return again

Though frost has silvered the temples 

樱花四月开， 

瓣落独徘徊。

送别泪无语， 

何时君再来。

Cherry blossoms bloom in April,

Their petals fall and roam the air alone.

Speechless, with farewell tears,

When will you return again?
