盛开在六月阳光下

有一种花

人们在今天将它送给

自已的爱人

有一种花

甜美得叫人心情荡漾

芳香得让人不忍离开

有一种花

已成为一个像征  

无需语言 世界通用

红玟瑰  红玫瑰

开在花园里  开在诗歌里

开在情人们的手指间

开在我的画布上

注：情人节，和先生晚餐后，写诗画画，不亦乐乎。

There is a flower

Robert Burns compares it to his dear love

Blooming in the June sun

There is a flower

People give it to their lovers

Especially on Valentine’s day

There is a flower

So beautiful that people are happy to be in its company

So sweet that people don’t care if their fingers

Are pricked by its thorns

There is a flower

It has become a symbol

A universal language

Understood by Mankind

Red rose, Red rose

On Valentine’s Day

Blooms in gardens, in poetry

Between lovers' fingers

And on my canvas

Note: On Valentine's Day, after dinner with my "better half", I wrote poems and painted a red rose, and I really enjoyed this creative evening.
