简介：《中国近现代名家画集》是由人民美术出版社和（宝岛）锦绣文化企业出版社联合出版的一套精品丛书，被艺术圈内称为“大红袍系列”的《中国近现代名家画集》，入选该丛书的画家都是在中国近现代美术史上占有一席之地的美术家。自上世纪九十年代以来，海内外共有70多位享有盛誉的绘画大师如、黄宾虹、吴冠中、黄胄、李可染、吴作人、汤文选、查世煜等陆续出版过此专集，其学术性和权威性，长期以来受到美术专业者及艺术爱好者的推崇。

Introduction:  The " Collection of Paintings by  Modern and Contemporary  Masters of China" is a fine art series jointly published by the People's Fine Arts Publishing House and the (Taiwan) Jinxiu Cultural Enterprise Publishing House. The "Collection of Paintings by  Modern and Contemporary Masters of China," known in the art circle as the "Big Red Robe Series," the artists have been selected for this series  occupy a place in the history of modern and contemporary Chinese art. Since the 1990s, more than 70 renowned painting masters such as Huang Binhong, Wu Guanzhong, Huang Zhou, Li Keran, Wu Zuo Ren, Tang Wenxuan, and Cha shiyu have published this special collection one after another. Its academic and authoritative nature has long been admired by art professionals and art lovers.

Note: The detailed description of the book is as follows: - Edition: First edition, first printing, Collection of Paintings by Modern and Contemporary Masters of China • Wu Guanzhong [1996, first edition, first printing, 9.5 grade,  in octavo format, hardcover, red robe series]. This book is a volume of the "Collection of Paintings by Modern and Contemporary Masters of China" which includes classic works of painting by the great master of modern art, Wu Guanzhong. These works are rich in content and reproduce the painting styles and creative characteristics of Wu Guanzhong at different times.

本书印刷精美，装帧考究，较好地再现了原作的神韵，可供广大美术工作者及爱好者研习鉴赏及临摹。

◆画册的内容及顺序为：一、序文：由画家本人或请对该画家及其作品有研究的美术评论家，撰写出画家生平、作品评鉴或创作心得等。二、作品：精选画家各时期不同风格面貌作品，重要作品可加部分图、局部图，作品通常占二百页左右。三、画家常用印章：精选画家常用名章、闲章，并加释文，印章自制或由其他名家制作均有注明。四、画家艺术年表：包括画家出生年月及艺术生平；画家的学艺历程及师承；画家在各时期创作的风貌及成就，以及重要的艺术活动等。年表纪　年为公元与干支纪年对照，以便核对。五、目录：作品以创作年代为序，包括作品名称、创作年份、作品质地、画幅尺寸，以及作品被何处收藏等情况。在全书之前印有画家像。画册采用八开本，用优质进口哑粉纸精印精装。

The content and order of the book are as follows: 1. Preface: written by the painter himself or by art critics who have studied the painter and his works. 2. Works: selected works of different styles and periods of the painter, with some important works added with pictures and partial pictures. The works usually occupy about 200 pages. 3. Painter's Common Seal: selected common seals and leisure seals of the painter, with explanations added. The seals are either self-made or made by other famous artists. 4. Painter's Artistic Chronology: including the painter's birth year and artistic life; the painter's learning process and teachers; the painter's artistic style and achievements in different periods, as well as important artistic activities. The chronology is in the form of years of the Gregorian calendar and the  Traditional Chinese  calendar for reference. 5. Table of contents: the works are arranged in order of the year of creation, including the name of the work, the year of creation, the material of the work, the size of the painting, and the places where the works are collected. An image of the painter is printed before the book. The book is in octavo format, printed on high-quality imported matt paper, and is finely bound.

◆关于画册的选题，大家认为入选者应该是我国近现代最著名、最有影响的画家、雕塑家，其中包括中国画家、西画家；中国画包括工笔、写意的人物、山水、花鸟等；西画包括油画、版画、素描、速写等；应广收不同风格、流派作者及作品，尽量使作品丰富多彩，百花争艳。
