Birthday, I Have Something to Say
Today is my birthday
I have something to say
I knelt down and said to my parents
Thank you for
Bring me into this world
And holding me in the chest and on the back
Helping me
And teaching me to stand up and lay down
Today is my birthday
I have something to say
Say to the heaven and the earth
Tell them
Today I have come here naked
Today is my birthday
I have something to say
Say to the sun and moon
Thank you for giving me the warmth of the day
Thank you for sleeping with the moon at night dreaming of a steamed bun
Today is my birthday
I have something to say
Say to the mountain and the water
You're the one who made me climb up and look far
You're the one who taught me to cut through the waves
Today is my birthday
I have something to say
Tell the four seasons and the aroma of the grains
Thank you for nourishing me
Thank you for sharpening my bones
Today is my birthday
I have something to say
Tell my wife
You were with me in the wind and rain
You were with me in daily life
It was you who walked me through illness and through difficulties
Today is my birthday
I have something to say
To the siblings who walked along the way
Learn ethics and morality
Do things with integrity and treat people with kindness
Remember that we care for each other
A lot of sweat runs through and don't think too much
Today is my birthday
Tell the world and tell everybody
I came here with the seeds
As a man sows, so he shall reap
The flowers are in spring and the fruits are in autumn
The seeds I planted
They gave birth to two boys and a girl who were very active
My seeds
Let me get to the college
My seeds
Let me teach and nurture people and the land is fertile
My seeds
Let me be crownless king too
My seeds
Then, there was a sea of poems
Put the wings on and fly over mountains and rivers
Poetry Magazine, World Poets
Looking out from the display window at UNESCO,
Seeing Nobel's home warms my heart
Today is my birthday
I have something to say
Say it to today and tomorrow
I'm a horse that's unconventional
I refuse the rope without any restraint
Even the old tree and crow at dusk
The sun still doesn't set in my heart.
Still the same moonlight in the pond
Tomorrow will still be thriving like bamboo shoots after a spring rain
2.Thank You Dad, for Giving Me Food
Dad
Give me food
Just telling me
Sweat drops to the soil and grains are fragrant
Dad
Give me food
Just telling me
Spring loves green, autumn harvests yellow
Dad
Give me food
Just telling me
Eat well and know how to be kind
Dad
Give me food
Just wanting me to leave Walking tall and proud and crossing high mountains and long rivers
Dad
Give me food
Just for my health
I grind it into ink and write a beautiful chapter
