满庭芳·夏日溧水无想山作

       风老莺雏，雨肥梅子，午阴嘉树清圆。地卑山近，衣润费炉烟。人静乌鸢自乐，小桥外、新绿溅溅。凭阑久，黄芦苦竹，拟泛九江船。

       年年。如社燕，飘流瀚海，来寄修椽。且莫思身外，长近尊前。憔悴江南倦客，不堪听、急管繁弦。歌筵畔，先安簟枕，容我醉时眠。

To the Tune of Mantingfang • A Poem on a Summer Day  at Lishui Wuxiang Mountain

     In the warm wind, the orioles gradually grow; in the rain, the plums become fatter day by day; in the noon sun, the shade of the trees is clear and round. The terrain here is low-lying, close to Wuxiang Mountain, and the clothes are wet, so it takes a long time to dry them by a fire. The people are quiet, the crows are carefree and happy. Outside the bridge, the newly rising green water splashed with turbulence. Leaning against the railing for a long time, surrounded by yellow reeds and bitter bamboos,  I felt like the demoted Bai Juyi, boating along the Jiujiang River. 

   Year after year,  I am like a swallow in the spring and autumn, drifting in the distance of the desert, temporarily staying on the eaves of others. It's better not to think about the fame outside the body, and drink fine wine often. But I , a haggard Jiangnan guest, cannot stand the exciting orchestral music at the banquet, which makes people even more melancholy. It is best to arrange pillow and mat in advance next to the singing banquet, so that I can sleep there when I'm drunk.
