梦中的味道，甜甜的

The Taste of Dreams, Sweet Poem | Xue Fei

风来了，又走了 The wind comes, then goes,

雨来了，也走了 The rain comes, then departs.

空气中，流动着燥热的气息 In the air, a hot, dry breath stirs,

我在山路间穿行 I walk the mountain path.

目的地有很多 Many destinations there are,

最后，我哪里也不想去 In the end, nowhere do I wish to go.

我想陪着她，陪着我的观雪山房 I wish to stay with her, with my Snow-Viewing Lodge,

还有我那二分薄田 And my humble plot of land.

没有必要处处受限 There’s no need to be confined everywhere,

被别人牵着鼻子走 Led by others, nose to the grindstone.

不看任何人脸色 I need not look at the face of others,

也不听任何人呵斥 Nor heed the rebukes of others.

看一朵花开，听一阵鸟语 To watch a flower bloom, to listen to the birds’ song,

守着繁星满天，静谧月光 To guard the star-filled sky, the tranquil moonlight.

梦中的味道，甜甜的 The taste of dreams, so sweet,

你的微笑，比任何时候都灿烂 Your smile, brighter than ever before.
