The stars hang low o'er the broad plain;
The moonlit river pours amain.
One's not famed from a writing quill;
He should retire when old and ill.

杜甫（712年—770年），字子美，自号少陵野老，唐代伟大的现实主义诗人，与李白合称“李杜”。原籍湖北襄阳，后徙河南巩县。DU Fu (712-770), Sir Beauty by courtesy name and Shaoling’s Old & Alone Master of None by literary name, born in Xiangyang, Hubei Province. Later he moved to Gongxian County, Henan Province. Du, a great realistic poet in the Tang dynasty, and Li Bai were known as “Li-Du”.
