我矗立的一刻
红星闪耀已经照亮了中国

As the footstone of new China being laid by the death and sacrifice of hero after hero,
My last drop of blood has already integrated into a brand-new China that we fight for.
从此我默默凝望
默默就位挺拔着标兵的站姿
From now on, I shall stare silently into the distance,
As straight and tall as a pacesetter.
从此我不再孤独寂寞
我以英雄的不朽
面向鲜艳的五星红旗
第一个迎接
共和国每一轮朝阳的蓬勃
From now on, I shall never feel alone and lonely.
Facing the bright five-star red flag as an immortal,
I shall be the first one to welcome every
sunrise of the People's Republic of China.
看到红旗下举起的拳头
坚定地紧握着百年的誓言
不变的信仰
依然是南湖红船七月的执着
I have seen
I have seen the raised fists under the red flag
firmly grasping the oath of a hundred years.
The faith remains the same and still carries on the original mission of the Red Boat on Nanhu Lake of that July.

My beloved China,
A land of nine million and six hundred thousand square kilometres!
The Red Boat in that July is full of my enthusiastic and patriotic feeling of the May 4th Movement.
Tempered by a sickle and a hammer, there comes the unyielding red in my bone.
我是八一南昌的枪声
井冈燎原的星火
To carry out the revolution to the end,
I am the gunshot of Nanchang Uprising on August 1st;
I am the fire sparkling on Mt. Jinggang.
收获十月金黄的丰硕
我是两万五千里雪山草地的跋涉
八年抗战
保卫华北保卫黄河保卫全中国的浴血
To harvest the Golden Harvest in October,
I am the Long March of 25,000 Li journey across the snowy mountains and grasslands;
I am the eight years' Anti-Japanese War to protect North China, the Yellow River and the whole nation.
我在硝烟中倒下
在追求探索中定格
金秋的十月
不朽的灵魂站成一座永恒的巍峨
Though falling in the flame and smoke of war,
I have already framed in the pursuit of my exploration.
In the golden October,
The soul of immortality shall stand there forever as a great monument.
我是东方脊梁 骨骼的坚硬
我是华夏精神顽强的不灭
我是松柏化身的长青
是蓝天白云 绿草 小河
绽放春天烂漫的 山花一朵
I am the backbone of the East，hard and strong;
I am the indomitable spirit of China;
I am the incarnation of the everlasting green of pines and cypresses;
I am the blue sky, the white clouds, the green grass and the small rivers;
I am a wild flower blooming on the mountain slope in the spring.
我没有安息
连世界都感觉到

红旗猎猎在把新的辉煌开拓
I shall not rest in peace.
Even the world can feel the earth under my feet is shaking and ready to take off after slumbers.
This is a choice without regret.
The red flag is fluttering and ushering in a new brilliant future.
我默默凝望
一条星河闪烁
寄托美好洒向万家灯火
In silence, I stare into the distance.
A river of stars is twinkling above,
Casting the auspicious light to thousands of households.
因为有一种爱不能割舍
那是我的母亲
永远的祖国
I shall not rest in peace.
Because there is a kind of love that can never be separated.
That is my deep love for my mother, for my dearest motherland!
