如果我能够重新活一次，
在下一生——我将试着
——去犯更多的错误。
我将不再设法做得这样完美，

我将变得更加本真——比起我过去。
事实上，我将只去在意更少的事，
我将不那么讲究养生，
我将去冒更多的风险，
我将会更多地去旅行。
我将观赏更多的日落，
我将翻越更多的高山，
我将畅游更多的江河，
我将到更多地方去旅行——
那些我从来没有去过的。
我将会品尝更多的冰淇淋和更少的酸橙豆，
我将去面对更多实际的问题——
更少去过问那些假想的。
我是那些人中间的一个，曾经
谨慎而理智地活在我生命里的每一时刻，
当然，我也确曾有过许多欢乐的瞬间——
可是，如果我能重新活着，
我将试着只要那些美好的瞬间。
如果你以前不知道：
生活正由这些美好的瞬间所构造，
那么此后就不要让每个此刻悄然溜掉！
我曾是那些人中间的一个——
他们哪儿也不去，除非——
拥有一支温度计，
拥有一个热水袋，
拥有一把雨伞,
或拥有降落伞。
如果我能重新活一次——我将轻装去旅行，
如果我能再活一次——我将赤脚行走，
从春天的开端启程，
一直行走到——秋天的结束。
我将去玩遍更多的旋转木马，
我将去欣赏更多的黎明，
我将去和更多的孩子游戏，
如果，我再有一次生命去活着……
（可是我现在已经85岁，
——我知道我行将就木……）

If I could live again my life,
In the next - I’d try to
Make more mistakes,
I’d not try to be so perfect,
I’d be more relaxed,
I’d be more true-to-life than I am now.
In fact, I’d take fewer things seriously,
I’d be less hygienic,
I’d take more risks,
I’d take more trips,
I’d watch more sunsets,
I’d climb more mountains,
I’d swim more rivers,
I’d go to more places I've never been,
I’d eat more ice-creams and less (lime) beans,
I’d have more real problems –
And less imaginary ones.
I was one of those people who lived
Prudent and prolific lives each minute of his life,
Of course that I had moments of joy –
But, if I could go back,
I’d try to have only good moments,
If you don't know –
That’s what life is made of,
Don't lose the NOW!
I was one of those-
Who never went anywhere
Without a thermometer,
Without a hot-water bottle,
And without an umbrella,
And without a parachute.
If I could live again - I’d travel light,
If I could live again - I’d try to walk bare-feet
At the beginning of Spring
Till the end of Autumn.
I’d ride more carts,
I’d watch more sunrises,
I’d play with more children,
If I had the life to live…

and I know that I am dying ...）
