石缝里的蚂蚁

想着两桩事

屯足粮食

然后到石头顶上看看

确实寥廓... 

那又能怎样呢？

这方圆几尺地

足够让一大家人温饱

只要人类不来捣乱

可以安稳地过一辈子... 

几年前

有只蚂蚁想看看海

执意离去

再没有回来

过往的海鸥说

他是爬到了海边

就这么看着

一动不动

后来被潮水卷走了... 

至今

只有他

看到了大海... 

Limitation

Those ants, in between a rock crack, 

Only think about two things:

Store enough foods, 

And get a good view from top of the rock...

It's panaromic indeed. 

Then, so? 

Families can be well fed, 

From the land within feets. 

We can live comfortably, 

So long as men don't come to ruin it. 

A few years ago, 

One of the ants wanted to see the ocean,

Very determined. 

But never returned. 

As told by seagulls, 

He did make it to the seashore, 

And was staring at the ocean, 

Unmoved,

And then was carried away by the tides. 

Until now, 

He is the only ant that saw the ocean...
