王勃(650—676),字子安,绛州龙门县(今山西省河津市)人。唐朝文学家,儒客大家,与杨炯、卢照邻、骆宾王共称“初唐四杰”。
WANG Bo (650-676), styled Zi'an, a native of Longmen, Jiangzhou (present-day Hejin, Shanxi Province), a litterateur and great Confucianist in the Tang dynasty. The poet and the other three, Yang Jiong, Lu Zhaolin and Luo Binwang, have been known as “Four Great Poets of Early Tang Dynasty”. (温建英 译)
