宝玉

携锄秋圃自移来，篱畔庭前故故栽。

昨夜不期经雨活，今朝犹喜带霜开。

冷吟秋色诗千首，醉酹寒香酒一杯。

泉溉泥封勤护惜，好和井径绝尘埃。

Moved around autumn garden with a hoe, 

By the front yard fences did the seedling grow. 

The overnight rain nurtured the fresh life,

Caught by the morning blossom by surprise. 

Verses after verses sing praises to the floral, 

Spread fine wine all over for the ritual. 

Meticulously watering and earthing, 

May you enjoy a quiet country living.
