林靜,詩人、書法家,新文學社社長。生於昆明,祖籍廣東,曾居京二十餘年,現居紐約。2006年創辦並主編《新文學》雜誌。書法作品曾在中美兩國多地展出并出版,擅長榜書,常應邀為商標、場館、刊物、書畫展、學會、寺廟、單位、書齋、工作室等題字。曾任多個畫展策展人、主持全球詩歌、書法和繪畫徵文活動、多次在中美兩國推出大型國際聯展、兩度獲美國西蒙斯國際詩會邀請、主編“中國國畫家系列叢書”及展覽圖冊并應邀為各大報刊撰寫樂評,早年音樂作品曾多次被北京國家大劇院和中央歌劇院演出。2015年應邀為北京中華世紀壇中秋國際詩歌節創作組詩《月光曲》並在開幕式上朗誦。曾連續三年獲美國作曲家、作家及出版家協會“年度作家奖”、數獲“桂冠詩人”稱號、多次接受海內外各大媒體包括中國中央電視台、北京電視台、美國福克斯電視台、時代華納等訪談。現任世界書畫家聯合會和國際音樂交流協會藝術顧問。
Biography of Lin Jing
Lin Jing, New York City-based Chinese poet/calligrapher and President of New Literature Society, was born in Kunming and grew up in Guangdong,China. She began to compose poems in 1990, and moved to Beijing that next year. In 2012, she moved to United States. In 2006, she established the New Literature magazine and served as Editor-in-Chief. She was invited to presented art exhibitions and global writing competitions as curator and jury’s chair. She was invited twice by Simmons International Poetry Conference in the United States, edited the Chinese Painter’s Series Albums, and wrote music critics for famous newspapers and magazines. Her early music pieces are performed by China National Center for the Performing Arts and China Central Opera House. In 2015, she was invited to recite her commissioned suite poem Song of Moonlight on opening gala of the China Millennium Monument’s annual Mid-Autumn International Poetry Festival. She won trice Plus Award from the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers. She was awarded the International Laureate Poet of Silk Road by the Silk Road International Poets Federation in 2018. Her poems were translated into English and Spanish. Lin Jing’s calligraphy has been exhibited and published in China and the United States and has been invited to handwrite for the titles of magazines,temples,art exhibitions and studios. She is currently the artistic adviser of World Calligraphers and Painters Federation and International Music Exchange Association.(Translated by Huang Tiange)
