世之微尘，1953年出生于闽西清流。 现为中国楹联学会会员，中国民族建筑研究会书画艺术专业委员会客座教授，中国楹联学会书法艺术研究会副秘书长、特聘专家，中国书画家协会副 主 席，哈佛艺术学院荣誉院士，香港特别行政区文学艺术界联合会美术家协会理事。法中文化艺术交流大使，西班牙皇家艺术家协会会员，中国服务贸易协会国际交流专业委员会副秘书长。2022年荣获“联合国和平艺术金鸽奖”，并被授予“联合国和平文化特使”，获得“世界和平艺术学院”命名，并兹聘为唯一“名誉院长”。

肖宗林热爱书法、绘画，曾大量阅读古今中外名著。对小说、诗歌、散文、报告文学及词、曲、字、画、题跋涉略较深。曾在《福建文学》、《福建日报》、美国《世界周刊》、广东电视台《凤凰周刊》、南方电视、中央广播电台等十几家媒体上发表小说、诗歌、专访、论文等文章及作品。

肖宗林擅花鸟、书法，作品追求生命意象，融自然与生活为一体。创作上以“六法”为主旨，力求画面清丽自然，空灵飘逸，不落流俗，传承古人而又时出新意。作品被社会知名人士广为收藏。
