欲訊秋情眾莫知，喃喃負手叩東籬。

孤標傲世偕誰隱？一樣花開為底遲？

圃露庭霜何寂寞？雁歸蛩病可相思？

休言舉世無談者，解語何妨話片時。

Murmuring softly to blossom, oh so fair.

With whom the virtuous pride has been hidden? 

What makes your arrival so late, dear maiden? 

Is lonesome garden embraced with frosty dews? 

Aren't swans and crickets saddened like ailing muses?

Believe not that no one shares your noble heart,

Just a moment aside and our minds would spark.
