——写在纪念“世环日”50周年之际

“世界环境日”的成立，已经50周年了。风风雨雨走过了半个世纪。
世界环境日的意义是什么？
世界环境日宗旨在于，提醒全世界人类社会，重视地球状况和人类活动对环境的危害，强调保护人类赖以生存的共同家园地球，改善地球人类共同生态环境。
世界环境日定为每年的6月5日。
“世环日”的确定，反映了世界各国人民，对环境问题的共识和人类共同体顺着自然发展定向思维，表达了人类对美好环境的向往和追求，也是联合国促进全球环境保护意识心愿、提高注重世界环境问题，并呼吁全世界各国应积极采取应对环保行动，呼吁各囯政府的主要媒体引起重视。
在“世环日”的今天，是世界环境保护日走过的第50个年头。
今年第50个国际六五环境日的主题为——“共建清洁美丽世界”！
联合国环境规划署在每年6月5日选择一个成员国举行“世界环境日”纪念活动，发表《环境现状的年度报告书》及表彰“全球500佳”，并根据当年的世界主要环境问题及环境热点，有针对性地制定“世界环境日”主题，所以“世环日”的全称谓，“世界环境保护日”。
“世界环境日”形成的意义，对当今人类共同地球生存环境，从质到量的提升，有了飞跃式的优化发展。
上溯到50年前的今天，即1972年6月5日，联合国在瑞典首都斯德哥尔摩召开了联合国人类环境会议，会议通过了《人类环境宣言》并提出将每年的6月5日定为“世界环境日”。当年10月，第27届联合国大会通过了联合国人类环境会议的建议，规定每年的6月5日为“世界环境日”，呼吁让世界各国人民永远纪念它。
联合国系统和各国政府要在每年的这一天开展各种活动，提醒全世界注意全球环境状况和人类活动对环境的危害，强调保护和改善人类环境的重要性。
关注环卫日，地方政府行政应该引起重视，呼吁广大民众积极参与当地的生态环境文明建设，给自己营造一个良好的绿色生态，有一个环境优美的生存空间。
