长亭外，古道边，
芳草碧连天。
晚风拂柳笛声残，
夕阳山外山。
天之涯，地之角，
知交半零落。
一壶浊酒尽余欢，
今宵别梦寒。
01.Sorrow of Parting
Along the ancient road,near the pavilion,
Green grass stretches to the horizon.
The breeze rustling, the willows sway.
The sound of the flute fades away.
The setting sun behind peaks glows.
Where are my dearest friends, who knows?
Allow me to drink down this cup of wine,
To keep me warm amidst the wintry dream of mine.
02.A Farewell Song
Beyond the pavilion lies the ancient road that never ends
To the horizon the lush meadow vastly extends
The breeze brushes the willow and the sound of a flute fades away
Behind the mountains the sunset marks the end of day
From the end of the sky to the corner of the earth
My bosom friends scatter but what is one's life worth?
Let’s finish the bottle for this last moment of gold
Alas, another sad night with dreams dark and cold
李叔同（1880年10月23日－1942年10月13日），又名李息霜、李岸、李良，谱名文涛，幼名成蹊，学名广侯，字息霜，别号漱筒。李叔同是著名音乐家、美术教育家、书法家、戏剧活动家，是中国话剧的开拓者之一。他从日本留学归国后，担任过教师、编辑之职，后剃度为僧，法名演音，号弘一，晚号晚晴老人，后被人尊称为弘一法师。
