The Song of Powerful Hawk

Amid the strong wind the hawk spreads its wings, 

And begins to soar above all earthly things. 

The hawk's motion looks extremely beautiful against the blue sky, 

In which it looks down upon the ground from the sky high. 

With its bright and shining eyes It easily catches its prey of big size. 

It takes off all of a sudden from the ground To search widely all-around. 

It alone fears neither tempest nor rainbow, 

thus making all other birds respect and bow. 

It perches on sheer precipice and overhanging rocks, 

And pays no attention to flowers, 

It only want to lean on pines against thundershowers. 

With its powerful wings the hawk fan up winds for the mankind, 

So they have heroic intention in mind. 

Hawk, since ancient time the painters have repeatedly depict your image, 

And the poets have written lots of odes about your brave model for persons of   all age. 

Ah------ When the hawk is soaring, 

it demonstrate its power, 

As if it conquered the wide sky and never cower. 

       雄鹰之歌

     湖北 蓝天风

振翅于万里长风

翱翔在无垠碧空

蓝天闪现矫健雄鹰

乘风追云傲视苍穹

身姿矫健目光炯炯

高空猎物疾速俯冲

飞腾而起展露峥嵘

孤身遨游万米云空

不惧风雨辉映彩虹

百鸟之上豪迈称雄

栖身在绝壁石缝

落脚于崖顶险峰

从未眷顾艳丽花丛

只愿依偎苍劲青松

高飞难测阴雨重重

雄鹰巨翅扇起大风

激起世人英雄之梦

凌云壮志萌发胸中

古今丹青把你描绘

万千诗章将你吟颂

啊一一 

雄鹰高飞矫健威猛

搏击风云翱翔长空
