前两天收到本地的杜佩吉学院珍妮弗•赫雷斯( Jennifer Hereth) 教授艺术家寄来的一册书名为《一个艺术家对政治不公的反应》（An Artist Responds to Political Injustice) 的精美画册，上面引用了我的一首题为〈土霸王〉（A Bully）的诗。对这位孜孜不倦为世界各地受压迫的人们提出抗议的艺术家，我深受感动。毕竟，比起那些把自己关在空中楼阁的艺术家来，他们对人类前途的贡献要来得直接深远。
下面是我这首诗的中英文版：

当血腥的词句
从他嘟起的嘴内喷涌而出
我们知道
他又在那里推销自己
将真相扭曲成
假新闻
将丑闻粉饰成
美闻
这土霸王
真人秀的主持者
精通如何逗引
一群迷途的羔羊
追着自己的尾巴
绕着一个无止无尽的圆圈
团团转
团团转。。。
A BULLY
when bloody words spew out
of his pouting lips
we know
he is trying to sell
himself again
twisting truth into
fake news
and spinning scandals into
great tweets
this bully
the reality show host
is a master at inciting
a herd of lost lambs
to chase their own tails
in an endless circle
round and round
round and round…
【作者简介】非马，美国华裔诗人，英文名 William Marr，威斯康辛大学核工博士，在美国从事能源及环境系统研究工作多年。曾任美国伊利诺州诗人协会会长，出版中英文诗集二十三种，以及英法意多语诗选五种。另外他还出版了三本散文集及十三本译著。他的诗作被收入百多种选集及台湾，大陆，英国及德国等地的教材并被译成十多种文字。曾获《马奎斯世界名人录》及意大利宇宙出版社国际审查董事会颁发的终身成就奖及台湾「中国文艺协会」颁发的中国文艺奖章。近年并从事绘画与雕塑，在美国及中国举办了多次艺术个展与合展。
William Marr, a Chinese-American poet and recipient of a PhD degree in nuclear engineering from University of Wisconsin, had engaged in energy and environmental systems research for many years before his retirement. He has published a total of over 30 books of poetry, essays and translations in his native Chinese language, and several English, bilingual (Chinese/English), and multilingual (Chinese/English with French and Italian translations) poetry anthologies. He is a former president of the Illinois State Poetry Society and the holder of two lifetime achievement awards, including one from the Marquis Who's Who Publications Board. In 2019, he was awarded the 60th Literary Award from Taiwan's Chinese Literature and Art Association. In recent years, he has also engaged in painting and sculpting and has held several art exhibitions in America and China.
