展览前言：
用《相向而行》这个词，作为何可人、马境若水网络双个展的展览名称，是否合适？有待讨论，因为，再找不到更合适的词语了。
何可人1988年从中国去了美国，在美国上学、工作、生活32年了。在何可人的绘画作品中，既有中国记忆，又有美国式的欧美艺术精神。马境若水1989年从中国内陆大西北来到珠三角游击战式的工作、生活了30多年，从地理跨度而言没有何可人大，但从精神层面来说，也是“断崖式转折”，从马境若水的汉字图腾作品中，不难看岀“非常激进”。
把何可人与马境若水放在一起，推岀一期双个展，有其特殊的原因与意义。马境若水在地球的亚洲中国深圳，何可人在地球的另一头美国纽约，时差刚好是12小时，是阴阳的两极。从地理到时空，再到世界文化、海洋文化，在逆差中寻找相向，在持续交流中反复碰撞、批判！
生活在美国的何可人与生活在中国的马境若水认识快10年了，在珠海、深圳多次面对面交流，及持久战式的网络交流。交流的范围从文化、艺术、美学、交通、旅游、文学、工程、科技、制造、地理、天文、气象、海洋、海岛、医学、全球新冠肺炎、教育、户外徒步、月亮、太阳、火星、列宾、毕加索、梵高、林风眠、高更、伦勃朗、攀岩……等等，
交流是有意义的，如同流动的水，可以不断激活生命深处沉睡的灵魂。如果封闭了，则是“囚室”，没有流动的空气、阳光、水，则一切生命死寂！
文化是发展的。文化生态是多元化的。疫情不能成为文化交流的阻挡。这一期《相向而行——何可人、马境若水双个展》，是一场以网络为平台，开放式的文化交流、学术讨论，欢迎海内外策展人、艺术家、美术史工作者、传媒、评论家、批评家参与、交流！

何可人的艺术思想：
总结我的“新自由写实主义”油画创作作品系列，有如下10个特点：
1）作品的主角都是世界上最具政治影响力的人物，但作品反映却能撇开他们的政治一面，并最具挖掘他们也作为普通人共性的另一面，这里作品没有政治标签、政治语言、政治符号、政治标题、政治道具，作品里的人物身体、三角裤、衣服、鞋子、沙发、天空甚至是标题上的“数学、物理”都不是政治，这是将把最具政治角色的人物，大众化、平民化、情趣化和幽默化的典型系列之作，
2）在世界美术史上最具表达以国家元首级人物为主题的故事情节的“规模化、系列化”之作，
3）最具数量、规模、规范和大尺度系列化的主题思想故事情节之作，
4）最具有构成学思想的系列化作品之一，
5）最具挖掘故事情节潜力的系列化作品之一，
6）世界上第一次，也是第一位，最有代表性地使用，以“数学、物理”的函数式作为油画主题性创作标题的系列化之作，
7）此类作品最具将工程学的：模块化、一体化、多功能化和当代化与绘画艺术相结合的系列化代表之作，
8）我们借鉴以往，面对未来，这里我采用的新写实手法将真实人物与虚构、梦幻故事情节相结合，虽然表现手法属写实的风格，但又不完全遵循传统的法则，如：比例、透视、明暗、色彩、维度等的表达方式，也就是说，不完全循规蹈矩。
9）其系列作品最能体现“艺术+工程+战略”的综合思维，
10）我将继续刻苦努力，扮演好，作为东西方文化和平使者的角色，承担架好东西方文化交流的桥梁责任，希望人类放弃“冷战思维博弈”，让我的这些系列作品，愿最能从人类不同的种族、不同人的文化背景、不同的观点角度出发，成为从中寻找读者——他们各自觉得、认为、确定的作品内涵的系列之作。

10 characteristics of the “New Free Realism” creative oil painting series
1) Each of the subjects within the series is a politically influential figure in the world. However, these paintings set aside the subject’s political career and explore the figure as an ordinary human. Within the paintings, there are no political symbolism, language, or titles. The paintings depict subjects’ bodies, clothing, sofa, and sky - which are all apolitical. Even the title of the works are inspired from mathematics and physics, which symbolizes and focuses on the natural and physical world. This series of paintings recreates political figures of the world into civilian and humorous figures.
2) This series of paintings is the most unique, numerous, and sizable set of paintings with its creative storyline of the world’s head of states.
3) This series of works is a unique set of works that captures realism, authenticity, and life as dreams, illustrious worlds, and creative storylines.
4) This series is one of the most serialized works that constitute academic thoughts.
5) These series of works is one of the serialized works that most contain and express the storyline.
6) This series of works is the first in the world to use the functional format of mathematics and physics as titles for oil paintings.
7) This series of works is the most representative of modern concepts of engineering through contemporary art including modularization, integration, and multi-functionalization.
8) Compared to a traditional painting style, the paintings adopt a new realistic technique - combining real characters with factionary and dreamy storylines. Although the expressions technique is a realistic style, it does not completely follow the traditional rules, such as proportions, expressions of perspectives, light and shade, color, dimension, etc. These paintings do not completely follow realistic expressions.
9) Each of the works in the series convey a culmination of art, engineering, and art strategy.

马境若水，1960年岀生于中国甘肃省玉门市。后随父母工作调动回到祖籍陕北吴堡，住窑洞、饮黄河水、听信天游长大。原47军139师炮兵团退役军人（华阴高塘）。现生活、工作在粤港澳大湾区。自幼喜欢图画式的象形文字，坚持少儿式涂鸦汉字数十年，其汉字图腾作品有原始美术的野性和东方神秘主义特征，作品吸收了史前岩画艺术、巫舞、卦象、符咒、陶纹、泥塑、剪纸、洞窟刻画……等古老的文化元素，也借鉴了现代美术家培根、弗洛伊德、毕加索、梵谷、草间弥生、石鲁、何俊彦、徐坦……的艺术思想。个人作品在中国、俄罗斯数次参展、交流。2018年6月与何俊彦共同发起《百岛计划》（中国万山群岛）。马境若水说：“字就是画”，“我的作品是梦境中的幻觉”。

* Majing ruoshui, born in 1960, Yumen city, Gansu province, China. After his parents moved to Wubao, northern Shaanxi, he lived in a cave and drank the Yellow River and grew up listening to the song ‘xintianyou’, which is a kind of Chinese folk music.
* Former soldiers of the artillery regiment of the 139th division of the 47th army . Now lives and works in guangdong-hong kong-macao greater bay area. He says ‘Since I was a child, I like pictographic characters, and I have been painting Chinese characters for decades. ‘The Chinese totem works have the characteristics of wild art and Oriental mysticism. The works have absorbed rock paintings, sorcery dance, hexagrams, spells, pottery, clay sculpture, paper cutting and cave depiction. Ancient cultural elements, such as modern artists bacon, Freud, Picasso, van gogh, kusama yayoi...... Of art. Individual works have been exhibited and exchanged several times in China and Russia. In June 2018, he and Mr junyan He jointly launched ‘the hundred islands art project (Wanshan islands, Zhuhai，China)’. Majing ruoshui said: ‘The word is the painting.’ ‘My work is the illusion in the dream.’
马境若水简介（4/英文版/马小奇翻译/2020/中国）
Ma JingRuoShui was born 1960 in Yumen City, Gansu Province, China. Afterward he was back to hometown Wubu, Northern Shaanxi with his Parents and grew up living in Cave, drinking water of Yellow River and listening to Xintianyou (A kind of Shaanxi local melody).
Ma JingRuoShui is an ex-solider of artillery regiment of 139th Division ,the 47th Army(Huayin Gaotang) and he lives works in Caton-HK-Macau great bay area nowadays. Since childhood, he has been fond of pictograph and has insisted on doodling Chinese characters for decades. His Chinese character totem hand writing has the characteristics of wild and Oriental mysticism of primitive art. His hand writing artworks have absorbed the rock paintings, sorcery dance, hexagram image, charm, pottery, clay sculptures ,paper-cutting, cave painting and more ancient cultural elements. Besides, his artworks also draw on the artistic ideas of modern artists Bacon, Freud, Picasso, Van Gogh, Yayoi Kusama ...
His personal artworks have been exhibited and attended exchanges in China and Russia quite a few times. In June 2018, Ma JinRuoShui and He Junyan co-sponsored 《Art Project of Hundred Islands》(Wanshan Islands, China) successfully.
Ma Jingruoshui says: “Hand writings are paintings.” “My artworks are illusion from dream.”
