湖面的波纹

湍湍的溪流

滔滔的江浪

翻天覆地的海潮

都源自一滴

小小的

水珠

诗人

嘴边带着微笑

在空白的稿纸上

写下了

第一个

字

WRITING POETRY

knowing

the small eddy in the pond

the gentle ripples on the lake

the gurgling stream

the torrential river

the billowing sea

all start with a drop

of water

with a smile on his face

the poet

puts down on the paper

his very first

word

非马，美国华裔诗人，原名马为义，英文名 William Marr，共出版了23本中英文诗集，7本译诗集，一本汉英法三语诗集，两本英意双语诗集，以及3本散文集。另外他还编选了几本中国大陆及台湾现代诗选。他的诗被译成十多种语言，并被收入台湾、大陆、英国及德国等地的教材。曾任伊利诺州诗人协会会长。《非马艺术世界》是他自己营建的个人网站。现居芝加哥。
