庚子小暑

槐荫蔽日稻花开，故国因循小暑来。

孝子堂前谋扇枕，魏王夜半泣惊雷。

蛩藏蝉噪将行伏，桃熟荷香已出梅。

心愿炎凉能遂意，更祈灭疫早消灾。

Pagoda trees covering the sun and rice flowering,

The Slight Heat is coming along.

As the filial son to fan for parents,

Wei King was surprised with midnight thunder.

Hidden cicadas sing hot summer days, 

Ripe peach and fragrant lotus show up.

To wish to carry on the will, 

And pray for the early eradication of the epidemic.

王香谷，江苏东台人。1945年生，1968年毕业于第二军医大学。现为全球汉诗总会澳洲分会副会长兼总编辑，上海格律诗词社顾问，《中国当代诗词大典》编委会顾问，《国际世界生态杂志》顾问。现客居悉尼，诗词作品颇丰，尤以七律见长。
