每一种文字
都不幸染上一身病毒
挑来挑去
找不到一个干净的词语
替我说出内心的伤悲
一首诗刚冒出头
就被一滴泪水
划上句号
A Full Stop
Every word
Unfortunately
Has been infected with a virus
Picking and selecting
I fail to find a clean word
To express my internal grief
The moment a poem starts
A teardrop wells up
To act as a full stop
2、夜晚
落日摁下按钮
梦一遍一遍复印着往事
月亮是新贴的邮票
风蹬一辆破旧的飞鸽自行车
敲开老屋木门
父亲戴一副老花镜
把灯捻挑了又挑
Night
The moment sunset presses the button
Dreams will duplicate the past events over and over
The moon is a new stamp
Wind pedals an old Flying Pigeon bike
Upon knocking open the wooden door of the old house
Father wears a pair of presbyopic glasses
Stirring the lampwick
3、红柳
没有靠山，没有背景
像一个无依无靠的人
独自站在黄昏
前不着村后不着店
人间是一望无际的戈壁
抬头只见路过的云朵
苦命的日子
被暮色一口气吞下
又被黎明吐出
Red Willow
Without backers, without background
Like a miserable man
Standing alone at dusk
Ahead, there are no villages Behind, there are no inns
The whole world is a boundless Gobi
Looking up, it can only see clouds floating by
The miserable days
Are swallowed in one big gulp by dusk
After which they are spat out by dawn
4、银杏
经过了
饥饿、干旱、战争
经过了一个又一个朝代的兴衰
人间那些破事都与它无关
风吹雨打
教会了沉默
身披一件黄色的袈裟
一口一口咽下百塔寺的香火
咽下千年时光
Ginkgo
Having undergone
Famine, drought and war Having undergone
The rise and fall of one dynasty after another
It has nothing to do with all the lousy stuff in the world
With wind blowing and rain slashing
It has learned to be reticent
Wearing a golden cassock
It has swallowed the burning incense of the Hundred-Pagoda Temple
One bite at a time
Thus swallowing a time of a thousand years
5、西安
城墙如一串佛珠
挂在钟楼的脖子上
阳光偶尔会伸出手指
拨动着，每念一下
就有一个朝代
从低矮的门洞里走出
兵俑身披盔甲
几千年按兵不动
Xi'an
The city wall is like a string of Buddha beads
Hanging on the neck of the bell tower
The sun occasionally sticks out its fingers
Every time it twirls and prays
There is a dynasty
Coming out of the low doorway
The terra cotta warriors in armor stand still for thousands of years

从牛皮里抠出
牛脾气
走街串巷
一把扁担挑起
悲与欢
童年的往事
在几根手指地操纵下
露出原形
A Shadow Puppet
Having dug bullheadedness out of cowhide
You make rounds of streets and alleyways
Carrying sadness and happiness
On a single pole
The past childhood events
are exposed
And their prototypes are revealed
By manipulating several fingers

枕着几声蝉鸣
一个农民工躺在木椅上
梧桐筛过的阳光
给沾满泥土的粗布衫
绣满了花纹
他像一只沉睡的花豹
牙缝里挤出一丝笑
一侧身
掉落人间
像一片枯黄的叶子
On the Street
To a few cicada chirpings on the pillow
A migrant worker is lying on a wooden bench
With sunshine sieved by plane trees
Rendering his mud-covered coarse cloth garment
Embroidered with patterns
He, like a slumbering leopard
Squeezes a smile through the cracks between his teeth
To lean to one side
He has fallen into the world
Like a withered yellowish leaf
8、古井
一把辘轳
绞起混浊的记忆
麻绳紧勒着
没黑没白的日子
谁也说不清哪个冬天
一个女人丢下冰锅冷灶
用身子填平这个窟窿
磨盘捂住
一张嘴
An Old Well
A windlass
Hoists a turbid memory
With ropes fastening miserable life tight and taut
No one can tell in which winter
A woman left cold stove and cauldron behind
And jumped into the well to fill the hole
A millstone seals
A mouth
