求知的欲望

去年我19
今年我20
人生刚刚开始
我在广阔天地奔跑
我在大山沟里当老师
也是这个季节
有的学生棉鞋露着脚跟
棉衣开着花
还坚持走在上学的风雪路上
中午他她从自己棉衣怀里掏出玉米饼或煎饼
连口热水都没有
我比他她们好多了
我在办公室里
几个老师轮流从家里拿菜
一个萝卜一锅汤
当然也是玉米窝头
教室里点着烧柴的炉子
窗户塑料布老是被风刮开
泥巴墙大裂缝能看见外面
那时那里的老师也不容易
我从小学一年级
一直教到初中一年级
今天教123
明天教456
和孩子们一样
每天来回十四里路
也是我来了
这里才有体育课
唱歌课
我教语文数学体育唱歌
成立文艺队体育队
开运动会
学生们爱笑的眼睛
盯着我
新鲜好奇
他她们的眼睛告诉我
——求知的欲望
我那时还不会说知识能改变人生
但我经常说你们从这里一直上学
读到大学可能你们的食衣住行就能改善了
不管你说什么
他她们都傻傻的笑
眼睛里透着求知欲望
第二年学校就盖好新的砖瓦结构的教室
来上学的孩子们更多了
校园里一片朗朗读书声
也许命运从此有了改变
也许为了更好的改变别人
我必须首先改变自己
77年恢复高考第一年
我匆匆离开后
一切不得而知了
记忆里只记得
——

I didnt say that knowledge could change your life.

Maybe youll get better at college.
Your food,clothing,housing and transportation can be improved
No matter what you say
They all giggle.
The desire to know is in the eyes
The next year the school built new brick classrooms.
More kids are coming to school.
The campus is full of reading sound
Maybe fate has changed forever
Maybe in order to change others for the better,
I must first change myself
In 77, the first year of the college entrance examination was reinstated
